Welcome back! A very special welcome to all our new students, families and teachers that have joined us this Semester. I trust that your association with Point Cook College will be positive. Please feel free to ask as many questions as possible to ensure a smooth transition into our great school. In this edition I will:

      Welcome back to Term 3! It is wonderful to be back at the College after a term away and to see so many students re-engaging with their learning so quickly. I look forward to visiting all of the Year 5 - 9 classes over the coming weeks and seeing our learners in action. In order to support our learning programs we ask all families to remember some key details: be on time, be in uniform, be ready to learn.

  • School Banking

    Term 3 School Banking competition has commenced. Students only need to make 3 School banking deposits, during this school term, to be automatically entered into the competition.

    Woolworths Earn & Learn

    Point Cook Prep Year 9 College is participating in the Woolworths Earn and Learn sticker collection programme. We hope to get as many stickers as we can to get resources for our school and students. You get one sticker for every ten dollars spent. Could you please bring these stickers to school by themselves or on the sticker sheets available online or at your local Woolworths store.

    NATIONALLY CONSISTENT COLLECTION OF DATA on SCHOOL STUDENTS with a DISABILITY "COLLECTION NOTICE"

    All schools in Australia, including Independent and Catholic schools, will participate in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability this year.The Data Collection is an annual count of the number of students with disability receiving educational adjustments to support their participation in education on the same basis as students without disability.

5-9 News & Events

Year 5 Snap Shot

Students in Year 5 have jumped back into Term 3 with enthusiasm. During Semester One the Year 5 focus was on establishing learning routines and organisational practices to support every student to develop the independent learning skills they need in the middle years of their schooling. This focus will continue in Term Three with an expectation of increasing independence and student responsibility.


Year 6 Cabaret "I Gotta Feelling"

TICKETS NOW ON SALE!! Payment Due 14th August

  • Due to limited seating (strictly 300 max.) you can only order a MAXIMUM of 2 tickets per child (who is performing)
  • Ticket price includes dinner prepared by Year 7 and Year 9 Food Tech students.
  • The children that are performing DO NOT require a ticket.
  • Please fill in the order form on the note your child received and return it to your child’s homeroom teacher or to the office in a labelled envelope NO LATER THAN 14th August. Late orders received after this date WILL NOT be accepted.
