Principal News

From The Principal's Desk

I hope everyone is well and keeping warm during the winter months. With only one week to go before the end of the Semester there is a great deal to celebrate and be proud of. I look forward to seeing many parents at the end of Semester Prep-4 and 5-9 community assemblies. If you have an opportunity please make time to visit the newly established garden areas and synthetic turf around the Year 3 and 4 neighbourhood. In this edition I ask you to read on to find out about a vacancy on the College Council, the newly ratified Parent Grievance Policy and an invitation to become involved in state wide consulation regarding ' The Education State'. As this is the last newsletter for the Term, I wish everyone a great and well deserved break.

Year 5 Melbourne Zoo Excursion

On Wednesday the 27th of May the Year 5 students and teachers travelled to the Melbourne Zoo. This was a great opportunity for students as they learnt about a variety of different animals and their habitats. At school, in Humanities, students are currently learning about animal adaptations which links nicely to our excursion to the zoo. It was fantastic to see and hear how much all students enjoyed their experience at the Melbourne Zoo.
