This is just a reminder to all parents that there is an expectation that all students wear the correct school uniform and the correct combinations of the uniform at all times. As it is term four there is also the expectation that all students have the correct hat to wear at school. We are a Sun Smart school and no hat means no play. If you are unsure about the uniform please check our school website for further information.
On the 3rd and 4th of November all prep students had an excursion to Scienceworks. It was wonderful to wave goodbye to all students as they left the school for this exciting day out. It was clear to see the excitement on their faces and the prep teachers told me that all the students had a great day out.
This is just a reminder about the Year Two, Four and Year Nine Pathways Concert, which is taking place on the 22nd of November. All students and staff involved have put many hours of hard work into this concert and all students are very excited to be a part of this great show. We look forward to seeing many parents sharing this special event with us.
This is the first year all students in years Prep to Four will be taking part in a camping program. On the 24th and 25th of November, it will be the Year Three Camping Program. The Year Four Camping Program will be on the 5th and 6th of December. The Prep to Year Two Camping Program will be on the 15th and 16th of December. If you need extra information about these programs, please see your child’s homeroom teacher. Further notes and information will follow. It is very important to note that only the year two, three and four students actually sleep over at school.
The prep students and the Performing Arts teachers are practising for the annual Prep Celebration Concert. This exciting event will be held on Monday the 12th of December at 2.15pm in the gym.
The end of year assembly for the prep to year four students will be held on Wednesday the 14th of December starting at 9.15am in the gym. The prep, year one and year two musical theatre group will put on a special performance of ‘ The Hungry Caterpillar.’
