Twilight Market

Thank you to all of our families and friends who visited our Twilight Market on Friday. We were disappointed it rained, but we hope that you all still had a good time!

We would like to thank the parents and grandparents who volunteered to help with setting up, packing up and helping on stalls. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Stockland Shop for Schools Promotion

We would like to thank Stockland Point Cook for inviting us to take part in their Shop for Schools Promotion. We received 21.5% of the total points share, placing us in 3rd place which means that our share of the prize pool is: $4,300.58! Thank you to the families and friends who were able to support us.

Parents and Friends Association

At the PFA Annual General Meeting on Tuesday the 13th of November, we acknowledged the work of the current committee including our office bearers Sharon Cooper (President,) Renee Dumesny (Treasurer) and Belinda Donovan (Secretary.) We also thank them for their offer to support the new committee as they settle into their roles.

As part of the AGM, we also needed to elect our office bearers for the next 12 months. We welcome the following parents to their new role; Lisa Adametz (President,) Mirelle McKinley (Treasurer) and Nazia Bano (Secretary.)

We thank all of our PFA members for their ongoing support of our College. The PFA are always looking for new parents and friends who are interested in joining. The group is very friendly and welcomes everyone! Younger children are also welcome. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday the 27th of November from 2-3pm.

Changes to Subway ordering

Orders have now closed for the next Subway lunch day which will be delivered on Tuesday the 20th of November.

The next Subway lunch day (and the last one for the year,) will be held on Thursday the 13th of December. We will notify families through Compass and Facebook when ordering is open.

We would like to remind you that all orders need to be placed through and students will not be bringing home an order form anymore. If you require any assistance, please see our administration staff.

Twilight Market Sustainability Stall

A big thankyou to the community for your support of the school sustainability stall. We had a great night run by the students, selling products made from and in the school kitchen garden and recycled materials. The tie draft stoppers were a huge success, as were the cucumber plants and lemon cordial. The appreciation of the garden was expressed by those who took the garden tours. We will be selling a few left over products, jams, seedlings, bath bombs at a pop up stall later in the term, keep your eye out for the dates on Facebook.

Second Hand Uniform Sale

The next second hand uniform sale will be held on Tuesday the 4th of December from 8:15 - 9:15 am and 2:45 - 3:15 pm. The sale will be held in the canteen, next to the gym.

Please note that we can only take cash payments. Items are $5-$10 each. We don't have all items of the uniform available in all sizes as it depends on the donations that we receive.

If you have any items of uniform, that you no longer need and would like to donate to our sale, please drop them off at the office. All of the money raised goes to welfare to help our families in need.

Thank you

Sandy Thornton
