PCC Bulletin - Term 4, Week 1

Principals Message

Welcome back for Term 4 to all our students and families. We hope that this will be our last term impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Sadly we have had so many events missed due to the restrictions enforced by our Government, but we are lucky to have been able to continue providing education remotely.

We have been forced to cancel incursions, excursions, camps and other activities we had planned. We understand that this is such a difficult and sad time for our stdents, particuarly those missing graduations, however once done this will all be a great story to tell your children.

9 weeks left of the 2021 school year, to get stuck into onsite learning ang get these kids back into classrooms. We lookforward to the return to school for all.

Return to Onsite Learning - Roadmap

Attendance

As we enter a new term, it is important to remind parents to log onto Compass on the day of your child’s absence and place an attendance note to explain any absences. This process is essential regardless of if you are remote learning or onsite.

For support on how to enter absence notes in compass, please see our 'How To Guide', which can be found on our website. Click Here.

Managing Unwell Students

Upon the return to onsite learning, the Department have provided schools with a quick reference guide to illness. One of the most important things we can do to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in our school community is to stay at home when we are unwell, even when we have the mildest of symptoms.

For further information, check out this reference guide;
Managing Unwell Students.
