Principals Message

We are excited to have your child/ren back onsite next week. We understand some parents/carers may be feeling apprehensive about the return.

Please be assured that we are following all of the Department of Education guidelines to ensure we have a Covid safe learning environment for all.

All students are expected to return in line with the DET roadmap. Please notify the College by calling the PCC Absence Line should your child not be returning- 8348 7117.

Mask Wearing

There have been changes to mask wearing mandates.

  • Students aged 12 and over must continue to wear face masks indoors and outdoors, unless a lawful exception applies.
  • Face masks are required for students in Year 3 to Year 6, only when indoors on school premises, unless an exception applies.
  • Exceptions for all year levels include: Students with a physical or mental disability are not required to wear a face mask where their disability means it would not be suitable.

Drop off and pick up of students

We ask that only parents of P-2 students enter the school grounds at drop off and pick up times.

All other parents are asked to organise an external meeting space with their child. To avoid gatherings and overcrowding please ensure you follow social distancing rules and leave the grounds as quickly as possible. We truly hope this is a temporary measure and that we can welcome parents and care givers back into the school as soon as possible.

Canteen Re-Opening

The canteen will be back and fully operational on Wednesday the 3rd of November, including over the counter sales. For a copy of the menu or for information about how to order, please read the article on our website homepage.

Conversational English Classes

This week was the first of our Community Hub run Conversational English Classes. Several families took part in this first week and it was a wonderful success. These classes will be held for the next 9 weeks, through to the end of term 4. It is not too late to join in, the more the merrier. Please contact the Community Hub Leader, Maria, to get involved.
