This week we welcomed back our Prep students (Monday to Wednesday), 1/2 students (Thursday and Friday) and our 5/6 students returned today. There was lots of excitement as friends and teachers and students reunited and everyone was able to get back to face to face learning.
We are excited to continue welcoming back the remainder of our students next week. It will be wonderful to have everyone back on site full time from Friday November 5th.
If you have been on site you would have noticed ground works occurring to our playgrounds on the Tom Robert’s Drive side of the school. This work should be completed by mid next week. If you are entering the site please consider using alternative gates.
You may also notice the SAK Garden has had a bit of a make over whilst we have been in lock down. Make sure you check out the stunning new green house and freshly laid paths. Our gardeners and maintenance crew have done an incredible job.
We have another exciting project in the planning stage... a full sized, covered basketball court, which will provide additional space for Physical Education sessions, lunchtime play and year level assemblies and meetings.
Please remember Monday November 1 is a pupil free day. Our staff will be undertaking professional learning in writing and also spending time preparing end of year student reports.

Students and Face Masks
Students aged 12 and over must continue to wear face masks indoors and outdoors, unless a lawful exemption applies.
Face masks are now also required for students in Year 3 to Year 6 (who are under the age of 12), only when indoors on school premises, unless a lawful exemption applies.
Students should bring a mask from home.
The Council supervised School Crossing on the Tom Roberts Parade will not be manned next week due to staggered return to school and council staff. Please use the manned crossing on Ponsford Drive.
As we return to onsite learning, can we please remind families that whilst we still continue to have some restrictions relating to the Covid-19 Pandemic, only Prep parents are allowed onsite. All other parents should farewell the kids at the gate or on the outsde of the school grounds.
If you need to access the office, this can only be done through the main reception door due to scan in requirements. NO PARENTS should be accessing the school building other than through the main reception doors.
The PCC Community Hub has continued to reach out to families over this time. Currently there are still available places in the conversation group, an open invitation to morning tea with Maria and much more.
