PCC Bulletin - Term 4, Week 5

Principals Message

It has been great to see our students all return to onsite learning full time this week.  Students have transitioned straight back into their routine, and this shows real resilience through such difficult times.

If your child is feeling unwell, please ensure that you keep them home. If a child presents to school with any cold or flu like symptoms they will be sent home, they must then get a covid test and return a negative result before returning to school again.  This is a directive from the education department not the college.  We thank all of our families who are currently supporting the college and helping us to keep students safe.

Our Prep and Year 7 Transition sessions are now able to take place due to the lifting of restrictions. The Statewide Orientation day for Year 7s will be held on the 7th December. More information will be shared with families in the upcoming weeks. Further information around the 2022 Prep transition will also be shared with families shortly.

With the lifting of some restrictions we will be able to provide graduations for both our Year 6 and Year 9 students. Our Year 9 Graduation will be held on 14th December and the Year 6 Graduation will be held on the 15th December.

Upcoming Dates

Year 9 Graduation - Tuesday 14th December
Year 6 Graduation - Wednesday 15th December
Last Day of Year - Friday 17th December (Finishes 12:30pm)

LAST CHANCE - Photo Permissions

Some families have not completed the Student Images: Privacy & Copyright agreement on Compass. If this form is not complete for your child/ren then you will not be able to have your child/s name or photo in our 2021 yearbook.

Please go to Compass Course Confirmations and complete your child/rens annual Student Images: Privacy & Copyright agreement for each of your child/ren.

Please ensure this is up to date if you want to be included in the yearbook!

Community Hub

2021 saw the introduction of the PCC Community Hub.

The PCC Community Hub serves as a gateway that connects families with each other, with their school, and with existing services. The Hubs aim is to  engage and support migrant women with young children, especially reaching women who have pre-school children or early years primary kids.

Hubs bridge the gap between migrants and the wider community, they connect women with schools, with each other, and with organisations that can provide health, education, and support.

Please reach out to our Hub Leader Maria to find out more, or check out our page for any upcoming events.
