Middle Years Education at Point Cook College is the transition between childhood and adolescence, where students begin to develop creative and critical thinking skills, learn how to use their strengths and make connections in their learning. Through challenging learning experiences, students are given opportunities to engage in rigorous curriculum and cultivate resilience. Our Middle School teachers are experienced and dedicated educators who have a deep understanding of early adolescence and Middle School curriculum.
Wellbeing in the Middle School aims to enhance student wellbeing through explicit instruction as well as school-wide events and programs. Students learn about emotional regulation, positive coping and growth mindset thinking. These skills will assist in students reaching their full potential and attain their goals.
