Creative Arts Program

At Point Cook College, we are proudly offering a Creative Arts Program (CAP) that assists our emerging artists and performers to achieve creative and academic excellence. With the guidance of our highly skilled teachers, we will provide the best possible environment for young artists in developing their creative attributes and skills.

CAP students will perform a variety of roles in the College Production, such as acting, singing, dancing, set design, props, make-up, crew, theatrical lighting and costume design. Being involved in a large-scale production like a musical, fosters life skills such as collaboration, dedication, and commitment. CAP students will have an Arts focus in their academic subjects, with studies such as Art History and script-writing. The outline of CAP consists of various sessions per week, in addition to Visual Arts and Performing Arts subjects. There will be some lunchtime and after school commitments for the Musical cast and crew, particularly during Terms 2 and 3.
