Notice of Election and Call for Nominations on PCC College Council

Nominations open at 8:00am on Monday 9 February for the PCC College Council Elections. Three parent representative positions are available, with successful candidates serving a two-year term from March 2026 to March 2028.

The College Council plays an important role in supporting the governance and strategic direction of the school, and parents are encouraged to consider becoming involved through the upcoming council elections.

How to Get Involved

Parents can participate by nominating as a candidate and by voting in the school council elections, which are held annually in Term 1. It is important to note that a ballot will only be conducted if the number of candidates exceeds the number of available positions.

Parents who are interested in supporting the process may wish to:

Stand for election as a member of the College Council, or
Encourage another eligible parent to nominate.

Nomination Process

Nomination forms should be collected from the office. Either;

Form 3: self-nomination form for parent member category (nominating yourself as a parent)
Form 4: nomination form for parent member category (nominating another parent)

If you stand for election, you can arrange for someone to nominate you as a candidate (form 4) or, you can nominate yourself in the parent member category (form 3). You can only be nominated by another member of the same category that you are eligible for (e.g. a member of the parent electorate may only nominate another parent of that electorate).

Completed nomination forms must be returned to the College Office within the timeframe specified in the Notice of Election. Upon submission, candidates will receive a Nomination Form Receipt by post, email, or hand delivery.

If the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies, a ballot will be conducted within two weeks after nominations close.

Parents are encouraged to consider this opportunity to contribute to the PCC College community and play an active role in the school’s future direction.
